Thornham Staithe is off the A149 between Burnham and Hunstanton; down Ship Lane and then Staithe Lane. I took this shot at the end of Staithe Lane behind the boathouse.
When I got to the staithe this time the tide was well and truly out. That’s largely why I like this shot; the contrast between the bright blue boat and the exposed mud really appeals to me, though I also like the reflection of the reeds in what little water is left. I confess though if I’d seen that gull perched on the far right jetty pole, I would have waited for it to fly off before I took the shot.
