After we'd been to Fairy Glen Gorge we crossed the A5 to climb, for what seemed like hours, up through a typical forestry plantation. At times we were tempted just to turn back but I'm pleased to say we didn't. The walk that followed across Dinas Mawr was fabulous.
I'm sure there are stone walls and clumps of gorse and bracken like this all over North Wales but that's exactly the point; for me this image is a great reminder of the lovely countryside around Snowdon.
